Madhava Vidya Vihara (Free Primary School), Anakapalli (2006)
During 1977 when the river Sarada flooded Vijayaramarajupeta of Anakapalli, Rashtra Seva Samithi constructed 120 pucca houses and a big community hall for our backward brethren with matching grant of the government. A free school – for slum dwellers belonging mostly to scheduled caste, was started in the community hall and was handed over to Bharateeya Vidya Kendram. In 2006 this school was adopted by Vijnana Vihara and renamed Madhava Vidya Vihara. With strength of 149 (72 boys + 69 girls) this school serves the local educational needs up to class V.
