Vivekananda Vidya Vihara High School, Seetampeta (1993)
In 1993, Vijnana Vihara was invited to participate in the Tribal Literary and Educational development programme by I.T.D.A. (Integrated Tribal Development Agency). Seethampeta, Srikakulam Dist. It was then that Vijnana Vihara decided to focus on educating the tribals. As part of the efforts, Vivekananda Vidya Vihara was started in Seethampeta. This has slowly grown into a high school with 507 (267 boys + 240 girls) children drawn from 114 Tribal habitations from 11 Mandals. This is shaping into a model school with its curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities. As a lead school, students of this school have been awarded Pratibha Puraskaras by the Government for their academic performance. All the 26 students of class X batch of year 2006 passed in first class with a maximum mark of 559 and minimum of 403 out of 600.
